By accessing or using Synapse AI Tutor ("Service") at synapsai.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. These terms apply to all users including students, parents, and educators.

2. Description of Service

Synapse AI Tutor is an AI-powered educational platform providing notes, practice questions, doubt solving, audio lessons, and other learning tools for students preparing for CBSE, ICSE, JEE, NEET, and Olympiad examinations. The service is provided by EduAI (synapsai.in), Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• One account per user — sharing accounts is not permitted
• Users under 18 must have parental consent to use the platform

4. Subscription and Payments

• We offer Free, 1 Month, 6 Month, and 12 Month subscription plans
• Subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable unless required by law
• Prices include 18% GST as applicable in India
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
• Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time but no partial refunds are provided

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Share, distribute, or resell any content from the platform
• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract our AI models
• Use automated tools to scrape content from the platform
• Misuse the platform for any illegal or unethical purpose
• Share your account credentials with others
• Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Synapse AI Tutor including AI-generated notes, questions, audio lessons, and platform design is the intellectual property of EduAI. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use content solely for your personal educational purposes during your active subscription period.

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Content on our platform is generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. We recommend verifying important information against official NCERT textbooks and consult qualified teachers for critical exam preparation. Synapse AI Tutor is a supplementary learning tool and not a replacement for formal education.

8. Facebook Login

When using Facebook Login, you authorise us to access your Facebook profile information (name, email) in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your use of Facebook Login is also subject to Facebook's Terms of Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EduAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription in the past 3 months.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
